Blackhawks win!

It was possibly the most disappoint Stanley Cup victory ever. No horns, no lights, no buzzers, no hawks theme song. But a win is a win!
 
Hell YES!!!! GO Hawks... BAHAHAH, Did anyone else just see Roneick crying like a bi*ch...."Its the Blackhawks man"....my god, he wont have a job next year.
 
He's an ex-hawk who has always dreamed of holding the cup but the hawks old manager refused to put money in the team so he left. I respect him.
 
Not only an ex- hawk....drafted by the hawks...but that was ages ago. The only two people that have earned the right to cry on live tv are Gretzky and Modano. And they were both still playing...
 
49 years, but at least you have won 1 before. The new streak for the longest with out a Stanley cup now lies with the LA Kings (42 years), and they have NEVER won one...

Disappointing that they couldn't do it in Chicago, though. The fans deserve to see it after 49 years without a cup.
 
Cubs haven't won a world series since 1908, a solid 102 years. Us Chicagoans needed this (yes, the White Sox won in 2005, but no one cares about them).

Correct. Hence the Kings having the longest running NHL streak for not winning a Cup...That said, I should have stated "NHL" in my original post... :D
