BLACKLIST A NUMBER: NO MORE CALLS!!

Have Galaxy Note8. How do I #BLACKLIST# a number to stop it from calling me?
I DO NOT mean Blocking!!!! . Already blocked the number but the person is still able to call my phone and leave voicemail.

How do I BLACKLIST the number to stop it from being able to call my number completely.
Can’t find the settings anywhere.
Is this do-able on Note 8???.?

Many thanks

See if you can block the number at your carrier. I haven't done this in years, so I'm not sure, but when I was on VZW I had the option of adding a very limited number (10 maybe) of phone #'s that would never reach my phone or voicemail.

With some Smart Phones, Blacklisting is do-able.
May need to swap... hmmm....
But voicemail is at the carrier level, so if you want to prevent that you would need to stop the call at the carrier. I suppose that may be an app that "answers" a call from a blocked caller and immediately hangs up without sounding the ringer, but even this would only work if the phone was on and the app was set as the dialer. It would sort of be like a landline picking up the receiver and automatically dropping it back on the cradle.

Not quite, my friend has. “Blacklist Number” option on her phone.
Don’t remember which phone she has, will find out
