Blocking

A few weeks ago, just one of my contacts (My Son, my most important one!) became unable to answer my texts or to call me. His phone tells me I’ve blocked him. I haven’t! His number is not on my blocked list and to make sure I’ve unblocked all of my blocked numbers. Both of our carriers assure us there is no connectivity issues between our numbers. Motorola tells me my phone is OK. I even did a factory data reset but the problem persists. Can anyone help, please? Thanks!

You both need to double check your contacts app and dialer app and see if you've mistakenly set your numbers as blocked. You also have to make sure no blocker apps are the culprit

What happens if you delete his number from your contacts then call?

Did you also check that you didn't accidentally block his number in your texting app?
