Months ago, I tried the official Facebook app and compared it to Bloo. I chose Bloo.
Facebook took a long time to update their app. And for a long time their app crashed and was crappy.
Bloo, on the other hand, was pretty stable and had better features than Facebook. Of course, with the latest update from Facebook, their app is comparable with Bloo now.
Don’t expect a full fledged app as Facebook blocks certain features from both apps e.g. replying to your inbox messages and playing games.
Unfortunately, development for Bloo seems to have stagnated. The long awaited chat and widget feature is nowhere in sight while Facebook has released a new version of their app. Still, credit is certainly due to the developer who created Bloo outside Facebook.
