Bluboo S8 won't let me adjust major settings

I got a Bluboo S8 recently, which runs on Nougat, but the inbuilt software is incredibly frustrating in that it overrides my attempts to make basic system settings. The most annoying one is that it doesn't allow me to change my launcher to anything but the default 'Initiator'. The settings to adjust the launcher are nowhere to be found. Even when I find loopholes (force stopping Initiator and other dodgy system apps) it somehow overrides me and puts it back to the original settings. I've been trying to find a fix that doesn't involve rooting my phone, can anyone help?

Apparently you just can't use an alternative launcher in the 360 OS http://www.360os.com
...that this Galaxy S8 knock-off uses...

Quite frankly I don't think there is any fix, not without rooting and hacking the firmware.
Some other China phones can be similarly crippled as well.

Bluboo = boo hoo!
