explorer pages have blue hue to them. how do I get rid of that?

What is "explorer"? Is it the phone model or an app ("explorer pages" sounds like an app, but there was a HTC Explorer). And has this just started, if explorer is an app did it update, is anything else affected or just one app, and what changed before this began?
