Help Blue Mail issue

The lowdown: Switched from Aqua mail to Blue mail and now I'm not getting the count badge on Blue mail icon on my home screen nor app drawer. Using Nova launcher with Tesla unread and all else works fine, badge wise. I still get the notification icon at the top of the screen... Is this a bug with Blue mail?
Blue mail is set to show notifications also
 
It must be a glitch in Blue mail, all the other mail apps will show the unread badge counts. Had about six different, all worked fine except for Blue mail.
