Is there any way to restore the original navigation app (blue arrow) that was factory installed. It just disappeared in the 4 days. My carrier is T-Mobile.

Hi, welcome to Android Forums.

The blue arrow icon was a shortcut to Google Navigation which was and still is an integral part of Google Maps. The blue arrow disappeared for a lot of users when Google updated Maps to version 7, but navigation can still be accessed from within the Maps app. You can also create your own shortcut.

Some users see version 7 as a backward step and have reverted to version 6, to do this just follow the procedure given here :- Revert back to previous version of Google Maps on Android - CNET Mobile .

This is purely a matter of personal choice. I've decided to stay with version 7, and the more I use it the more I like it, and I think Google will take note of the feedback and we will see improvements coming through.
