blue tooth headphones skip

[Android Question]

I have a problem with my Rocketfish blue tooth headphones skipping or breaking up during a song when I put my I pod (newest one) in my pant pocket. The only way it works clearly is when it is in my shirt pocket. move it more than 18 inches away, and it starts to break up. the range is supposed to be up to 32ft. (18 inches?) any ideas? Dave

Are you listening to this in an area with lots of wi-fi networks? Bluetooth degrades very fast with distance if there's a lot of wi-fi activity going on (especially audio, but can also happen with wireless mice pointer skipping etc)
