Root Bluesleep keeping me awake

So I've been plagued by this issue for a while and I really want to get a handle on it.

I seem to be having Bluetooth issues where bluesleep wakelock will really kill my battery. Yesterday I had my phone hooked up to my Bluetooth speaker, then turned off the speaker but the phone still acted as if it were connected with the icon lit and the whole thing.

After about 4 hours of not being hooked up to the speaker by battery stats said that "bluesleep" and "msm_serial_hs_dma" wakelocks accounted for 6 hours of awake time with no deep sleep and really no other activity on the phone.

It does this in the car, too, if it is hooked up in phone mode where it won't go to sleep or the battery really drains even while in idle.

I've done some searching on this and haven't found anything yet with Lollipop to help. I'm running stock 5.0.1 with the latest Franco kernel.

All help is appreciated!

You leave bluetooth on all the time? You may want to look at apps similar to tasker (a paid app but there free ones similar under related apps). Apps like these can track events (like Bluetooth connected or disconnected from a device) and perform "tasks" on the device like automatically turning off Bluetooth after the signal was no longer there.

As for your wakelock phenomenon:
Bluesleep is a wakelock that is an error on part of the Bluetooth System missing a few binaries.
Try using a different kernel to see if it's francos that causing this.
