Help BlueStacks 3 Crashing Windows 10

Hello.

I'm new to androidforums and wanted to say that it's great that I have found this place, hoping to receive answers for an issue I have regarding BlueStacks 3. I have tried to report the issue through the app's tech support but no good.

Anyway...

Recently I reinstalled a genuine Windows 10 after I've upgraded my PC, and one of the things I did later is too get back on BlueStacks 3 to play some of the same games I also have on my smartphone.

When installations of BS3 was completed, the app initialized its engine for the first time and when it was about to finish, suddenly a window pops up - warning me that the engine couldn't be loaded properly, and that I must either restart the engine or restart the PC. Unfortunately, both options caused Win10 to crash for unknown reason. After a few times trying to restart, out of frustration I also tried to reinstall BS3 and the same issue remains.

If there is a solution, please help me. I couldn't find one in Google.
Thank you!

There might be few reasons behind the issue
  • Conflict with anti-virus, uncheck "enable hardware assisted virtualization" from anti-virus setting/disable anti-virus and restart the PC. It would work.
  • Check if your PC configuration is enough to make the BlueStacks run efficiently. It is a heavy software and i would recommend to close all other programs while running it (as it might need up to 1GB of RAM).
  • Recommended configuration : windows7 / 4 gb RAM / i5 processor
  • Make sure virtualization is enabled in your PC.
  • Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of BlueStacks from their website.
All of the above recommendations are mentioned on their support forum, http://support.bluestacks.com/
