Bluetooth and wifi Unlocker F2

I have this app installed on my Galaxy S5 (AT&T) running stock Android 4.4.2. It mostly works but is somewhat unreliable and quirky. I want to uninstall it. But I seem to be in application hell and can't figure out how to remove the damn thing.

First of all, the app apparently can only be uninstalled from within the app itself. It says so right on the opening screen and sure enough, the uninstall button is disabled in Application Manager. I can stop it, but I can't uninstall it.

Fine, I'll do it the way they want me to. Except that the instructions say to go the the app settings menu. My device has no dedicated menu key and there is no menu button in the app that I can find. The screenshot on the app page in the play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=joel.sternet.se.full2) shows a menu button at the bottom of the help screen. But there is no button there, on the version of the app I am using!

How can I get rid of this thing? I have contacted the developer (Joel Stern) but so far no response. Ideas? Is it possible to manually delete an app from the file system on a non-rooted stock device?

It's probably set as a Device Administrator.

Head to Settings (Generic Phone settings, not the settings for the app) -> Security -> Device Administrators, then uncheck it (if it's checked).

You should be able to uninstall it now?
