Bluetooth Audio "stuttering"

Has anyone had issues with bluetooth audio "stuttering" when streaming? It happens in my car the worst, with a few different apps.
I have the issue too with my 2016 Mustang's Ford Sync. Some forums say the issue can be caused by having too many contacts syncing with the car. I've deleted the contacts and repaired the phone. Hopefully that will work.

No other issues with any of the 5 or so devices I've paired other than the car.

That is interesting, because my issue is with a Ford as well, with Sync 3.

What do you mean by you deleted the contacts?

Mine will very occasionally do that right after I start the car as BT starts streaming - I've actually wondered if it's something to do with leaving the wifi connection as I pull out of the drive - most of my listening is streamed rather than on the phone. . It only does it maybe 1/10 times, and it self-repairs within seconds.

I also have this issue with my Acura MDX ever since I got it. I also see my bluetooth signal fluctuate how strong it is. I did NOT have this with my Note 4 previously. I've read else where that it may have something to do with Nougat.

Personally, I think it's an LG thing. I had an LG G4 before this (died from bootloop). Before it died I had terrible audio stutter through bluetooth in my 2014 Chevy Cruze MyLink. In between that phone and the V20 I had a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and bluetooth was flawless. The couple times I've used bluetooth with the V20 to stream it's had a couple tiny hiccups. So I am tending towards LG being the issue.

I also have this issue in my 2016 Ford Explorer. I did not have this issues with my Samsung S5 or Note 7.
There are very few posts regarding this, so it seems that most people do not have this issue with their LG V20s. Perhaps the LG V20 and Ford Sync cannot work and play well together. Any thoughts on this?

I have the same problem in my 2013 Dodge Dart. I have removed all pairings and re-paired my V20. I have also tried various players. Never had any issues with my Samsung S4, S5 or S7. Any other ideas?

Don't have a 2013 Dodge to test, but it does work perfectly in a 2012 Dongfeng truck.

Might be worth contacting Fiat Chrysler that deals with Dodge vehicles, see if they can suggest anything. But their answer might be, that you need to upgrade the head unit

I've had this problem with my note 3, and now with my Moto Z Force. It's got to be an Android OS issue. It happens with many different BT devices. This has been happening for a long time with many phones. Is there any indication this will be fixed?

Could be local interference possibly, given that you've gone through many different devices, and still had same problem.

Frankly I've also used many different Androids, and used them with different BT speakers, headphones, vehicles, and just not had stuttering at all. Except for when going out of range, which is to be expected.

I'm still having the audio streaming issue, but the weird part is that its only when the vehicle isn't moving. If I am driving, its no problem, but when I stop at a red light or something, it starts "stuttering". I've been meaning to try my wife HTC 10 to see if it has the same issue, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
