Bluetooth Battery Popup

When I connect my Sony WI-1000X to my Note 9 a battery status notification keeps popping up about every 10 to 15 seconds. It overlays all apps, videos, etc. Has anyone else seen this problem and is there a way to turn it off? I've included a screenshot of the popup.

Its not a “problem” moreso as its a “feature”

Go into the app info of the device and turn off notifications.

It isn't a specific app, it's the android system itself that's showing me the pop up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the WI-1000X is a Bluetooth headset, right? Is there a companion app for it that could be telling you it's charged? I have never encountered any version of Android telling me that an accessory was fully charged - and I've used Android since Eclair in 2009. This HAS to be something Sony-related.

I am using a different set of headphones, and it does not have a separate app. From what I have gathered about the problem, it *seems* as though the problem is related to the headphones. Ever since a few versions ago, android supports displaying the battery information in a small dialog like you see in the pics. Furthermore into my understanding, this is ONLY suppose to happen when your headset makes that initial connection. That being said, unpairing and repairing my headphones seems to fix the issue but it does come back after a while. I think something is going crazy w the connection and the headset is sending multiple connection messages to the phone even while it's in use. I only notice this when I am in a high noise area (probably 50 other Bluetooth devices broadcasting) so I think the connection gets hosed between my headset and my phone.

So you have no connection to a WI-1000X? That device isn't listed in your Bluetooth devices at all? That sounds like a phone call to Sony, to find out why your phone is picking up the battery status of someone else's headset! The only other thing I can think of is to go to Settings -- Apps -- overflow menu (3 dots upper right) and select "Show System Apps" -- Bluetooth and Clear Cache. If it persists after that, you can go back and Clear Data: but doing that means you'll have to pair all your devices again.

I'm having the same issue with both my Jabra 45e headphones AND my Bose Soundsports. It has to be a problem with Android as those are both managed by different apps. I'm on a Note 9, this has been happening for almost the entire time I've had the phone. Also, CLEARING THE CACHE DOES NOT WORK, ONLY A FULL REBOOT WILL STOP THE POPUPS.
