bluetooth connection

[Android Question]

I have a galaxy s3 and a monster beats speaker ( the small round one) my mate can play music via Bluetooth from his I phone but I can't work out how to do it from mine. I've connected them via the cable from headphone to speaker but it's very quiet so a little help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sometimes there is a separate volume control that is only active when a headphone jack is plugged in. Try turning up the volume with it plugged in. Another option is to try connecting to it via bluetooth as your friend is.
