Help Bluetooth disconnects when call starts

I have a Plantronics Blacktop 500. When I start a call you can hear the first ring through the headset, then bluetooth disconnects. You have to manually reengage bluetooth by touching the bluetooth button on the dialing screen.

Why is bluetooth disconnecting and how do I get it to stop?

That sounds like a bug/issue. Might be worth checking if there's a Samsung firmware update for the S5, or failing that try contacting Plantronics, see if they can suggest anything.

I am wondering if its a bug too. I also have a problem with lower microphone audio on my Note 5. Not sure why in the world it would be so low. Callers complain unless I talk loudly. Again, didn't have that problem with the S3.
