Bluetooth eating battery

I've had my Nexus 5x a while and I've always been pretty satisfied with the battery life. The last couple of days though I've noticed my battery start to run low late in the afternoon. When I check to see what the problem is I see Bluetooth has used about 45% of the battery. I haven't added any apps recently so I have no idea what the issue is. Anyone have any ideas? I've had to turn off Bluetooth and I'm not happy about it.

Sounds like it's one of those apps, you 'just' need to identify which one. Which is super tedious. First, uninstall all the new apps and wait a day to make sure the phone is now working correctly.

Next add re-install half the apps and run the phone for for a day or so to see if the problem is back. If it isn't, add half the remaining apps, if it is, remove half the apps you added .. and repeat until you identify the app that's causing the problem.

A total PITA :(
