bluetooth headset quit working

I have a plantronics headset to use with my EVO and it has been great but in the last few days I have tried to use it with the EVO and it says it is connected for phone audio but it isn't playing my media at all and doesn't appear to be working with the phone at all. It isn't the headset - it works fine with other devices. Anyone else having this issue?

"phone audio" = mono phone sounds (SCO) and android phone won't pipe media over that channel without redirecting audio with something like BTmono. It's for phone calls.

Maybe A2DP got turned off for that device. It would explain why you're seeing "connected to phone audio" instead of "connected to media" or whatever it normally says for A2DP connections.

Off the top of my head:
Menu | Settings | Wireless | Bluetooth Settings | (device)
You could try deselecting "phone audio" there to see if you can force A2DP.
