Are bluetooth headsets harmful on a long term? Does it affect the health more than the cell phone radiation?
If headsets are used for calls, i guess it will be only active during the calls , not all the time. But bluetooth headsets for listening music needs a continuous transfer.

I haven't read any studies on the safety or lack thereof on BT headsets, but all of the studies on cell phone radiation says using a headset can minimize the exposure, as well as using a holster instead of keeping the phone in your pocket (which I've never understood anyway).

Like cell phones, the frequencies used by bluetooth are non-ionizing, meaning they don't carry the energy necessary to damage atoms or molecules like x-rays or gamma rays can. At high enough levels - above what cell phones and way above what BT uses - these radio frequencies only cause heating, not damage.
