We're looking for a couple of bluetooth headsets, probably different so we can tell which is paired with which phone. (We both have Note 2's.) Here, I'm looking for advice-I see headsets on Amazon ranging from $13 to several hundred. Or more although I'm not sure how serious some of the prices are. (I'm fairly sure the one priced at $99,999.99 isn't serious.)
We don't want boom mikes. We'll almost exclusively use them in the car, generally while driving. We used a couple of the cheaper ones a few years ago & had the following problems: hitting the right button to answer/place calls; battery life-it seemed like every time we started to drive we found the headsets dead. This might have been due to a 3rd problem, difficulty turning them on/off. As I recall these had a single button to control all functions. Every time I wanted to turn it on or off I had to dig out the manual. Needless to say those wound up in the trash & we developed a dislike for headsets-but now we're required to use them if we want to use our phones while driving.
So, can you make some suggestions? We would like to stay under $100 if possible. Around $50 would be better since that would keep it close to $100 total. Thanks.
