I can not figure out how to send files via bluetooth. I need help

for photos/videos open the gallery and find what you want to share and long press it(tap and hold) till a menu comes up.
tap share then tap Bluetooth.

what about ringtones how do you send them to someone via bluetooth

the only way I know is to install an app that will share files. Like i use File Manager.
with that you just find the ringtone file and long press and tap send to then tap bluetooth

If the ringtones are "protected content" (DRM), you probably won't be able to transfer them off the phone. When you purchase a ringtone, you are generally purchasing a license to "use" the ringtone, not to share it.
