Bluetooth interference/static

When I am using my Bluetooth headset and have the phone in my hand I get a bunch of static. If I put the phone down its ok. Or if im holding the phone and have it pointed straight down it is ok nut but if i tilt the phone to a more normal positioning o get the static. Anybody else? Im pretty ignorant when it comes to technology so any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

You're not facing true north when this is happening, are you?

Just kidding... :p

I have the Jabra Revo Wireless headset and I have no static or interference. The only thing I can think of is that maybe your BT headset is older and running an old version of the Bluetooth binaries, or you have a bad BT radio in the phone. To determine the culprit, try pairing another, newer BT headset to your phone and see what happens.

Thanks for the welcome and suggestion. I am using what I think is a relatively new head set. Im using the LG HBS910. I will try to pair my phone with other devices to see if the same problem occurs. Those headsets paired flawlessly with my S6 so I dont think there is a pronlem with the headset itself. Thanks again

I have the HBS910 as well. Headset works great if im holding the phone or its on the dash. If i stixk it in my pocket theres lots of interference. Cant understand why....
