Bluetooth issues (speakers)

I have had a problem with my RAZR HD Maxx and my Bose SoundLink bluetooth speakers since I bought the phone. The volume does not work like it should - this is something I already posted on here in another thread. But I also experience frequent stoppages of music when streaming from online sources such as Rhapsody, iHeart, Slacker, you name it. It's sporadic and doesn't seem to have any trigger. I thought it was happening with I got incoming notifications but that has not proven definitive. I don't notice it with other bluetooth devices but then I don't too many other BT devices. I don't seem to notice the problem when I'm playing from the onboard player (Pro Player, it this case).

So just wondering if anyone else has noticed any BT dropouts with whatever BT devices they might be using? I have contacted both Bose and Motorola about this issue and neither were very helpful insinuating that the problem is on the other's end. I will say that the Bose/iPhone connection was rock-solid with no issues so I'm inclined to blame the Motorola side of things. But who knows. I've only seen one other person post on this forum about this issue but it was about the volume problem. Is anyone else having BT dropouts with speakers when streaming music from the cloud?

I've got a set of Altec Lansing T515 BT speakers, nd they connect to my HTC Wildfire S, Xperia U, N7 and several old nokia & LG featurePhones without any issues. I'd agree that it's most likely a compatibility problem with the RAZR.

Hi Methos, I own a Droid Razr Maxx and am evaluating a Bose Soundlink and a Jawbone Big Jambox bluetooth speaker. I've been streaming music from Motorola's My Music and from TuneIn radio a lot over the last few days. I have not noticed any BT dropouts.

However, the Bose Soundlink has the same volume issue you've been experiencing. It works find with the Jambox though. This is really disappointing because I like the sound of the Bose quite a bit more, but that volume problem is a deal breaker.
