Bluetooth mouse

Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I am new to tablets.

I just bought a Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0

I got a keyboard dock for it and it works great for me. Now I want to put a mouse on the system. I tried a friends Bluetooth mouse and obviously ran into problems.

It says that they are connected but there is no mouse pointer on the screen. The only solution I can think of is that there is software out there that puts a pointer on the screen of a tablet. I'm not sure if its possible but I'm sure if it is, it is out there.

Does anyone know of some such software?

Thanks

Wow. It works. I actually have this adapter. Never crossed my mind to use it for a mouse. I use it for thumb drives.

I tried it with a USB mouse. Will try it with a wireless next. Only drawback would be, it would use more juice from the tablet. Also, you cant use the mouse and charge it at the same time.

You might want to consider a powered USB hub so you can connect more than just the mouse, and maybe charge your tablet at the same time
