Bluetooth notification sound?

Does anyone know how to turn off notification sounds when Bluetooth connects (or at least change that sound so it's not the same as the text notification sound)? Thanks very much.

Mine doesn't make a sound when it connects to my truck, so not sure what you're hearing. Is it coming from your phone or your vehicle?

It's coming from my phone. Makes the same sound as an incoming text message. I can't figure out how to make it stop.

I have the same issue with my Droid DNA - it plays the "DROID" sound when Bluetooth connects. I found a place to turn off notifications for it, but it's greyed-out. Go to Settings/Apps/All/BluetoothShare. There is a "Show Notifications" checkbox, but I cannot change it. ARgh.

Did you ever find out how to do it?

I'm on a Samsung Note 8, Android 9 and having a similar issue. My phone plays the same notification I have set for text when it connects to Bluetooth and I cannot shut the notification off. I have tried to find a solution for this and cannot find one. This forum is the only one that has even come close to having the same issue that I do. Has anybody come up with a solution in all of this time? The search continues.
