Help Bluetooth Problem

I have a Motorola bluetooth device and when I try to make a call on it the Nuance voice recognition on my mezmerize opens and I can't hear the bluetooth prompt. I can receive calls through the Motorola but not make them.

What is the bluetooth device you're trying to use? Has it been paired correctly to your phone?

I'm using the Motorola 325 bluetooth device. It is paired to my Mesmerize and I can receive calls but when trying to make a call it activates the Nuance program on my phone.

What are you doing to make a call? Activating the device, or initiating the call from the phone?

Also, the Nuance program is the voice command interface on the Mez. It's activating because when you activate your BT device, it's anticipating a voice command. "Call John Smith, mobile".

When making a call I am activating the bt device. When the Nuance is activated the bt becomes useless because the phone is in my purse and I can't hear it.

Have you tried checking out the settings for the device in your phone? Perhaps there is an option to disable certain features that are activated from the pressing of the bluetooth headset piece.

Never really got into the whole bluetooth craze. I use standard wired headsets. Less problems occur in my opinion.

Then you do not have the bluetooth device paired correctly. If it is paired correctly, you would be hearing nuance through the BT device, not from the phone.
