Bluetooth remote control for Tablet/phone?

I am looking for a bluetooth remote control to use for music/video etc on my galaxy tablet. There are ones like this on ebay:

but it is a bit ambiguous whether they will work on tablets etc or are just for smart tv's or set top boxes etc.

Does anyone know?

They will only work on a smart TV.
It will not work on a phone or tablet as is.
