I'm sure Bluetooth is universal. Check at Amazon.com, they have lots of Bluetooth speakers. :smokingsomb:

Thanks for the replies.
I am aware that bluetooth should be universal but I have seen some wi fi speakers that only work with NFC enabled phones. As far as I can tell my phone is not NFC enabled.

Bluetooth and NFC are entirely different things so should not make a difference. Aas long as your phone supports A2DP (or something like that) which all smartphones from the iphone 3gs support then it will play through bluetooth speakers.

I personally use Creative D80 for a cheap run of the mill bluetooth speakers. Nothing amazing but saves faffing around with wires!

I recommend the jambox, it's a wireless and bluetooth speaker. I use it at work and the audio is great! Easy to connect too.

Yeah, Bluetooth is an universal format. As long as your device supports Bluetooth, which it almost certainly would, you can use any Bluetooth device with it.

Purchased a knock-off beats Bluetooth speaker for my phone a couple months ago. Unit is loud and bassy for its size. :)

I have a Logitech UE that I use at work. It is plenty loud in a woodshop environment. The bluetooth signal covers far more distance than I would have expected. I would highly recommend this unit.
