Help bold italic underline on Android Galaxy S6

I have a Galaxy S6 and I use Textra. I'm wondering if there is anyway to bold a word or phrase...or italicize or underline?

On edit...pardon me, I also use Swiftkey.

SMS doesn't support any kind of styling of type by the sender. Even if you could have it display different font characteristics, it wouldn't send that way and your emphasis would be lost.

I'm not sure if Whatsapp or Wechat or FB messenger maintain formatting all the way to the recipient, but you'd both have to be using that messing service. If it's that important to you, you might want to look into it.

No, I'm just a person who likes to interject a little emphasis once in a while. I suppose it comes down to Swiftkey, really--I was responding to someone on Instagram the other day and wanted to emphasize a word and although I had known/assumed that there was no way, the aggravation just reached a point where I _had_ to ask.

Maybe someday, eh?

Maybe but it will probably come in the form of some type of bb code that would drastically shorten the message because of the overhead.

I suppose. Of course, if everyone in the world would just accept my conventions--!bold!, /italics/ and _underline_...well, just sayin' :D
