Book Cover case

I bought the Book cover case yesterday and I am extremely happy with it.

I does not and significant weight and is a hard cover so it feels solid. I like this much better than my Ipad 1 case that felt cheap and flimsy.
I think the best part about of and why I chose it over the Belkin one is that the tab is still low profile and still protected.

I was not sure how well the propped up for video was going to work but it is very stable.

If you are looking for a good case I would recommend getting the book cover case.

I agree completely!

I've seen some adverts saying it's leather (it's not) but it feels good, adds protection without a lot of weight and bulk.

My only complaint with it is, that I wish you were able to plug in the charging cable without having the magnetic flap open.

Other than that, it's a great case.

Love the book case cover! It helps me enjoy the tab everyday. It's slim, sleek, very official looking, makes the tab look great and still protects it when I throw it in a bag. Love the rubbery feel and yet it is stiff enough to protect the tab.

Someone in my office just referred to my tab as a pad. I had to correct them. Sheesh! You don't call a Mecedes a BMW and vice versa do you? But yet they are both cars and accomplish the same thing. So why in the hell would you call my tab a pad??

I have the Belkin slim folio case and it's ok... It doesn't really fit the tab as well as I would like and mine slips slightly all the time. I have been looking at this case and had a few questions. How does it fit? How much bigger does it make the tab? Any other good or bad things about this case? Any help is really appreciated!

I love this case- and I always hate cases. It adds almost no bulk, it fits flawlessly, but still feels like it's protecting the tab. Only negative is you have to ope the bottom flap to charge it, but I don't really see that as much of a negative.

It's great. I highly recommend it. Works really well to prop up the tab for reading while either on your desk, sitting in your lap or laying in bed with the tab on your chest. Love it.

I got the Samsung book cover and it is much much better than the one they sell at the Verizon store which is made by Belkin. The quality of the cover really compliment the high quality of the tab.

The only bad part is that I cannot display the beautiful white back of my tab. :)

Yeah I think I may just take the plunge, the SGT is such a nice device.

A sexy tablet like that needs a nice coat to go out in the evenings....hmmm :)

I got my case yesterday, and have to say, it's great. As everyone else has said, it adds almost zero bulk, fits perfectly and looks pretty slick. If anyone is looking for a case, get it for sure.

Yeah, it is the best looking case I've seen while looking. Only thing is, it won't allow the tab to fit in the cradle that's right next to my bed. I use this thing as an alarm clock, so easily docking it every night sounds cumbersome.

I ended up cheaping out and buying this instead: :o

Case Logic PLS-9 Ultraportable Netbook Sleeve for 7-Inch to 10-Inch Netbooks (Black)

I had recently bought one for my laptop and thought it was nice enough. Oddly I think I might even be able to still get the bookcover in there and use the case logic as an outer wrapper. Gonna wait and see if the price drops though. The case logic definite has some extra room but it feel like it adds protection and has a nice pocket for the usb cable.

But then I had some money left over for this:

Amazon.com: Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand for Apple iPad, Galaxy Tab, Playbook, Xoom, HP, Toshiba, Acer, Nook and Other Tablets (IPM-TAB1): Electronics

============

Total shipped and with taxes: $31 :)

This left me more money to buy the HDMI and USB adapters too :) Those I bought from Samsung -- just to be sure they were the right kind. I wasn't sure there was enough of an "aftermarket" yet for these specific adapters to save any money (and I always wonder if after market stuff will work correctly).

I think im going to have to return the belkin case I got from best buy and go with this one. Although I would really like a case that has a cutout for the charger so I can keep it closed...

I thought that would be more annoying than it is, actually. The case closes completely, just not the tab part. I just flip up the tab and plug in the charger. *shrug* Even if it fell off my nightstand or whatever the cover would stay closed. Small price to pay IMO for such a great case.

One could easily cut an access hole in the rubber blocking the charge port and charge with the case completely shut. You would then have to unplug the Tab in order to use it.
