Boost Mobile Galaxy S5 in Europe

Hey there all,

This might seem like a basic question, but here it goes. The Galaxy S5 (model G900P) that I have which is on the Boost network has a SIM Card slot in the back. I am traveling to Europe for work this summer, and need to have a phone available to me while I'm there. Is it possible to take my current phone, swap out the SIM card for one of the prepaid ones you can get from a European carrier, and away I go? Or is there something about this phone that is not compatible with taking it overseas, and I should opt to get a different phone for the trip abroad?
