I am a new member here and just purchased a Boost Samsung 2 phone. I have two questions, I have read enough already about Boost customer service being very poor but wanted to see if I can get an answer here first.
1) I have not activated the phone yet but have been using it with WIFI the last several days. It keeps reminding me to activate it. Will this cause any issues when I finally do activate it? I am holding off until my company makes it mandatory for me to switch (I currently have a company paid device with Verizon). I know service will go down and completely understand that fact so waiting until I have to port my number over. So will using it WIFI only until then mess anything up with the phone or boost?
2) Would I be able to activate it receive a boost number to verify how poor the signal is (or hopefully not) then port my company number over at a later date. I cannot find anything in regards to that on Boosts website.
