Boost Mobile texting down for 2 days in NYC?

I am using a stock rooted sgs2 epic touch.
Every since yesterday evening I cannot send text messages.
I receive texts on and off.
What is going on is Boosts texting service down in Queens NYC?
Is this happening to anyone else?

Could be part of Sprint doing their upgrades, or a weather related issue.

Service disruptions such as drop calls, no service, text messaging issues, very slow data, or your phone staying on 1x etc. are classic signs of Sprint's Network Vision upgrades. Your service will degrade before it significantly improves. Sprint's New York City market still has many legacy sites they need to be Network Vision upgraded.
