Boost Moto G $89.99

Some of those online "stores" on Ebay are pretty good. I bought my last 3 phones from EBay stores and they were fine. The reputation scores count!

I bought my Warp 4G in December from same seller for $99.99. Totally legit, fast shipping, unopened retail package, flawless performance so far.

So, my mom is getting a Moto G for free at Boost w/current trade in promotion. She has a cheap $10 Tracfone and wants a Smartphone. Not a big data user at all. Current promotion allows for trades and porting of numbers. So, she'll get the Moto G for free and pay $40/month with no contract. I was shocked they were allowing Tracfone prepaid accounts. She doesn't need LTE/4G so this phone would be perfect. Tracfone account is active so the sales guy at Boost said we're good to go.

Since the Moto G is $99, are you referring to the Switch And Save $100 promotion? Looks like all you have to do for that one is port your number to Boost from a non-Sprint carrier, I didn't see a mention of trading in a phone.

Or is this a different offer?

I believe it is the Switch and Save. Maybe I don't need to trade in. He said I had to bring the phone in and I needed the phone number and it needed to be an active phone/account. It's not a big loss because it's a little $9.99 phone that only makes calls, no texting. But, if I don't need to trade it in, I'll keep it. I'm just happy she can get a free Moto G. :D

Update: I kept the phone. All they needed was the phone number and the account number (which was the phone number) and the "pin" which was just my zip code. The Tracfone number ports in to the Moto G in a few hours but I have the phone already. Came with Kitkat installed and really an impressive phone for the price and specs.
