yea, that is quite the price. I got the S5, considering it's a rather crazy 40% off; been looking to upgrade from the majorly underwhelming LG Volt.
 
Picked up the S III for the $99 deal yesterdayto replace a Kyocera Hydro Icon. The call volume is too low to hear anywhere but in a sound lab.

Wish I had seen this post sooner. Never thought about a coupon.
 
it's here! :D interestingly, it comes in the small brown box like the post-paid carriers, rather then virgin's in stores whre it's the normal big white box
 
the ram usage kinda surprises me: over 1gb, but having 700-800mb free (more then the volt came with) is nice

Absolutely no carrier branding, the only branding is "Samsung" and "Galaxy S5". The one i got is boost but looks like the virgin version is the same. (would make sense to be exactly the same hardware).

On a different note, I've noticed that in it's current unactivated state there seems to be 0% carrier bloat, wonder if there's a way to prevent the carrier apps from downloading right after activation? Sure could go without things like connection optimizer, and the randomly appearing apps; hopefully that's only a virgin thing.
 
Anybody who ordered the S3 on Cyber Monday - did you get the case? I ordered two (holy moley, what an upgrade over the Warp Sequent) but alas, no cases came in the box.

Yes, I received the flip cover as they advertised.
 
I called this morning. The very nice customer service agent told me it was a "while supplies last" situation. I didn't order until almost 9 pm.
