Help Boot Loop Help!

Hey Guys,

Just switched over to T Mobile yesterday.. I couldn't stand the bloat wear and I wanted the stock google experience.. I had CM10 installed on my Galaxy nexus for over a year before i switch over..

I used the toolkit this time around.

The toolkit was pretty straight forward.. I rooted the S3 successfully and installed Clockworkmod recovery. After some more research, I decided to flash Cm10.1 and gapps.. The toolkit wasn't working when I selected option 14.. Which was "Install Zip File to Device via SideLoad".. So I decided to just put the two zip files (CM10.1 zip and gapps.zip) onto my SDCARD, boot into CWM and install the two zips.. Now, i'm kicking myself because I did not select wipe dalivk cache or format partition. Now i'm stuck in a boot loop..

So, at this point I didn't panic cause I thought I could just go back into Clockworkmod recovery and try to re-install.. But NO!! What's this? I'm back at the STOCK recovery? Not Clockworkmod!!! What happend?

I read that sometimes the CWM can get overwritten by the stock recovery if you do not rename the files, but I did this in one of the steps.. (Option 4 "Rename Recovery Restore Files")...

So, Now i'm stuck in a cyanogen mod Bootloop with stock recovery!

I can only access download mode.. I have tried using Odin to push CWM, to now avail.. I have tried downloading the stock image but to no avail.. As you can see in my picture, I have attempted this 6 times.. I do not want to attempt any more as I don't want to corrupt the partition..

Sorry if the image is a little blurry.. But it says:

ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SGH-T999
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: Yes (6 counts)
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE

Please let me know if I have hard bricked my phone.. I will then cry...

Well, i'm not sure if this is stock recovery or just "Odin Mode".. I've done this 2 times before, so I'm intermediate.. But still at a nooby level i guess if I can't figure this out.. grrr.

try home power and up (or down whichever is opposite to access this screen) then u may need to factory reset/ wipe cache but you can install clockwork recovery via a free app called rom manager its pretty straight forward just ignore the payed options unless you want them, im guessing your puttting a new rom on there? cm10 etc? ifso you specifically need to factory reset and wipe the cahe etc or you can get stuck in the boot loop, i only know as i did it last week and id forgot to do this..

Hold volume up + power button + home button to get into recovery. Volume down + home + power button takes you to download mode which is what you pictured.

Ahh jeez.. Sorry guys. Was used to my Galaxy Nexus... I am now in the recovery. I wasn't holding the key sequence long enough to get into the stock recovery.. Let me try this again and i'll get back to you. Thanks.

okay Success.. Factory/reset and cache wipe helped.. It appears that the update is going!! You guys rock, and I'm glad it was somthing simple!..
