Hello and welcome!
Well, if it has been doing that for 3 hours, that is way too long.
Since you haven't pulled the battery, try it, reinsert it, and then power it on.

Oh, one more question...Do you have the LG Stylo 2 or the LG Stylus 2?

I ask because you posted in the Stylus 2 channel, but posted that you had the Stylo 2. Didn't realize there were 2 different phones with very similar names:p

Hmm, not good but...I'm not quite familiar with your device, but do you know how to boot into recovery to clear the cache? If not, I'll search around about how to do that, unless someone else chimes in. :)
I've tried that also didn't work the video I recorded shows exactly what it does and I've tried the button combination for it

Power off, volume up and power. Or volume up and power while it bootloops.

Will boot you into the recovery.

A cache wipe as stated above would be a first step. From my personal experience the Stylo 2 runs funky if you don't factory reset after a update.

Same with my Stylo 3 plus.
