I'm sure this isn't the first time someone has posted this but I need some major help. I rooted my Monster M7 tablet a while back. Originally, I intended to just delete the bloatware so I didn't think I needed CWM or any thing else. Then, I decided to start messing with it and I changed the boot animation. Now, it boots and only shows the boot screen that I downloaded and won't go away. Please tell me there's a way to get rid of it. I already tried factory resetting it in recovery mode and nothing... I have no backups of course. Please tell me there's a way to get this over with.

Search you tube or xda to find the original software image. If you can find that, side load it and boot into recovery. If you can get to that point you should be able to restore and root all over again. That would be the best help I can give.

When I put it in landscape, the left half shows the boot screen and the right half shows the normal OS. When I put it upright, the full screen shows just the boot animation. The animation was downloaded from ROM Toolbox.

If you still have your original boot animation then you can use your custom recovery to access the directory where your boot animation is currently located on your device and replace it. When you complete the task and reboot your device then all should be well again.

Meanwhile, boot animations are not designed to be universal across all android devices. They each have different size images and frame counts which are usually based on the device resolution it was intended for. It is very easy to modify these boot animations to work.

Another factor to keep in mind is insuring you properly set the permissions to these boot animations as well as insuring that they are properly zipped or else the device may have trouble reading and/or executing them thus causing boot problems.
