Ok,..I Bought it for 3 hundred dollar headset... It came iphone specific with the accessories.. The buttons to control, talk, mic, volume will work for the iphone and not my Galaxy S2.. Bose sells a mobile communications kit but does not have the Galaxy S2 listed as one of the devices it is compatible with and in fact It is specified incompatible with the galaxy S... I do not know anything about the S.. Is the S2 the same standard as the S. Also the guy at bose says it will work as long as you have a 3.5mm jack.. I called back again and another guy said it probably would not work.. So I am confused... Anyone with experience with Bose products and the galaxy s2?..

If it said its not compatible to Galaxy S, its most likely not compatible to S2 by default since both are made by the same manufacturer. You could try a different music app that has support for headset controls, since it may just be a software incompatibility.

QC15 works just fine with my old Galaxy Y-Pro [GT-B5510L]
I will have my new Galaxy SIII next week. I hope it works with that one too

I will let you know guys

Ok, here it is

QC15 + Galaxy SIII
-The only thing you can not do with the QC15 in-line controls, is to control audio volume. Beside that, you can answere and drop phone calls, you can start stop videos with audio. you can start and stop music, you can turn ON and turn OFF and scan for channels at the radio

The audio volume is the only thing you can not control, but I can live with that

Edit: I have to add a note. The QC15 mic works fantastic with the Galaxy SIII. You just have to push once to answer the call, and then it does not matter what hapens with the mic. you dont need to put it near your mounth. I will transmit your voice very clear with almost no surrounding noise

How did you get this to work?

I read your post before buying my bose headphones. when using it in my galaxy s3, the mic does not work at all. The button does (not the volume rocker).

What did you do? any apps that made it work? are you on a certain custom rom?

Thanks

I have the same problem. I can hear fine, and the play/pause button in the middle works fine.
The microphone, volume up and down buttons do not work. I've tried it on the stock and a custom rom, same result.
I have the Bose IE1 with a built in mic that does work.
