Help Bought a used phone already rooted, question about Phone

So I bought a SG3 off A local classifieds web site. The phone works great, only problem is it was rooted before I got it.
I was told it was a Rogers Canada phone. But i cant be sure as usually Rogers Brands there phones and I don't want to return it to stock or update it with out knowing where this phone was from.

Is there any way to tell this? via serial number? model number?

Model is SGH-I747M

Currently using it with Rogers in Canada.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Just found out its a Roger Phone, So can someone point me in the right direction to unroot this back to rogers original?

I pretty much know how to do it. just cant seem to find a rogers kernal.
