Bought Nexus S earlier today for $100 and now it's free...

Would I be able to get a refund if I bought it the day before the sale? I was extremely upset when I saw this new sale that was going on. Also, would I need my phone with me? I am going to Six Flags tomorrow and I was wondering if one of my parents could go in and take care of this for me. Afterall, it is on their credit card that it was purchased.
