Help Bought US Cellular Galaxy S Help?

Is there any other way I can switch my Samsung Galaxy S, to get a plan with some place like, Straighttalk, Cricket, Virgin Mobile?

What model of the SGS do you have? Is it an i9000?
If it is unlocked, you should be able to pop in a SIM from Straght Talk. Virgin and Cricket both use CDMA networks, so it would not work.

I e-mailed them, they said:

"We are sorry to inform you that US Cellular phones are not supported by
our Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP) program at this time. Its technology is
not compatible with our BYOP SIM cards. Only T-Mobile, AT&T compatible
handsets or unlocked domestic GSM phones will work with this program.
This program will not work with BlackBerry, CDMA phones (i.e. Verizon,
Sprint, Metro PCS) or branded Straight Talk, TracFone, SafeLink and
NET10 phones."

What exactly is a "unlocked domestic GSM phone"?
