bought used s6 edge plus having trouble unlocking

so i bought a used mint condition s6 edge plus off someone locked to canadian carrier rogers so i got it home went to cellunlocker.net requested an unlock code since i don't use the carrier its with so 15 hours later i get the code i insert my sim card into phone asks for the unlock pin i put it in and it says network unlock request unsuccessful so i wipe it and try again same thing talk to cellunlocker they request a video so make the video of it not accepting the code they seem to not know what to do about it so wondering if anyone on here has a solution feel like i bought a 650 paper weight

Hmmmmm.....
If you're rooted, there's a guy @ XDA who can unlock late model Samsung devices remotely.
He doesn't charge anything, but, PayPal donations are welcome......

FWIW, I've used www.masterunlockcode.com in the past & have had success every time.....
 
haven't rooted it yet still waiting on cellunlocker.net to respond back to my email to see if i get refund or if maybe they got the wrong code
 
well tried masterunlockcode got the unlock code same one and defreeze tried everything to unlock it still no luck can rogers block me from unlocking or is there something wrong with this phone lol
 
If possible,I'd visit a Rogers store & see if they can find something,or,perhaps unlock it themselves.............
