Hello to all id like to introduce myself to the forum
Love the forum have been a long time follower of it but was unable to find a fix for my current problem.
I just upgraded to an LG G5 and straight out of the box it has the Mobile Radio Active Bug that plagued lollipop users
I haven't heard of anyone having to deal with it on Marshmallow 6.0.1 like i currently have.
Cell Standby and Phone idle take up as much as 30% alone not to mention when I open chrome it leaves Mobile Radio Active on as well, basically any app that uses (MRA) mobile radio active it will leave it on.
I have tried factory reset a number of times .
Trying all the tips of Google's location permissions
Revoked and disabled apps that use it but my battery will discharge 10% every hour with little to no use.
I am at the crossroads with this phone after just 2 days of having it lol.
Don't get me wrong this phone is awesome but software issue is killing me.
So....
Should I return it for a replacement or is this just an issue with the the G5's?
P.S. I'm with Verizon
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks .
