brand new phone and no sim will read

[Android Question]

I brought a 2degrees branded phone on the batterie it says Enspire. I put my new sim that came with the phone into the phone turned it on and the phone has no signal says there is no sim in the phone. What could possibly be wrong with my Brand New Phone

Could be:

Sim not in properly?
Sim not yet enabled by your provider - some have to be contacted to enable new sims
Faulty phone

Try your sum in another phone if you can
