Bricked Fierce 2

My son managed to brick his Fierce 2 7040t.

By some miracle, I managed to get ahold of someone with a clue at alcatel OneTouch after contacting them via Facebook Messenger. I just received a shipping label to send it to them.

I'll report what happens when I get it back.

If they fix it, I'll pull modified recovery and make a backup...

Got it back in one piece. All I need is a way to get the backup done.
