Root Bricked?? Need Help

Hey guys so the unthinkable happened. Today i restarted my phone and bam...it continues to say Android is upgrading for over two hours. Even resetting the phone causes same results. As froma porevious post I was never able to install Philz so I have the old recovery, and I followed every step of SuperR's unbrick tool. I'm intermediate when it comes to Virtual Box but i got everything working, even clicked on Qualcomm for device and I keep getting device not found. I don't know what to do at this point...any help would be appreciated.

I don't have any experience with SuperR's unbrick tool so I can't help there, but a few questions for clarity.

You're not rooted and don't have philz installed correct?

Are you on JB or Kit-Kat?

Did your phone try and update? It sounds like it did because of the 'Android is upgrading' message.

First try rebooting into recovery(power and volume down keys) and clearing the cache.
