Root Bricked?

Was trying to get Cyanogenmod going on my Nexus 6.
Got stuck in a TWRP bootloop.
Moment of madness, relocked bootloader (because I'm an idiot).

Now have Nexus 6 that will only boot into a TWRP bootloop no matter what I choose in the bootloader. The LOCKED bootloader. That I cannot unlock with fastboot since there is no OS to "allow OEM unlocking".

Any ideas? Please tell me it's not bricked....

Its very hard to brick a nexus. I only know of a couple of ways to actually do so. Anytime you can get to fastboot you are going to be fine. It can be re-unlocked with fastboot OEM unlock. It doesnt need to be booted into the OS for that.

Careful, in my experience that wasn't true. You need to be able to tick "allow OEM unlock" in settings. My cyanogenmod mod install failed sonI had no OS to open the settings with! Fastboot OEM unlock kept failing. Had to fastboot erase all the partitions it would let me to get it to boot into recovery.

Strange, I dont see that option on the stock ROM. Could it be an issue caused by enhanced security on a custom ROM?

Ah, I dont even have developer options enabled. Thanks
Understandable,it's quite nice as-is,out-of-the-box. :thumbsupdroid:

I'm sure I'll root/ROM mine eventually, just don't have a lot of compelling reasons screaming it ATM........

I'll always root. ROM I can do without now. Quick quick settings pull down is about the only thing I miss. I'm not willing to go xposed just for that.
