Brightness keeps resetting

Hi,

I have a rooted S3 and recently updated my rom (Omega) to JB. I'm now getting a very annoying problem where I set the brightness, either manual or auto and when I lock the phone and go back to it, the brightness has reset to the lowest setting.

I've tried a different JB rom and I'm still getting the same problem.

Does anyone know why this is happening and if I can fix it?

From what rom did u update to omega? did u do a full wipe before updating to omega Jb?

I was on an Omega ICS version, think it was 9. I did a full wipe/factory reset and wiped the cache etc.
