What is the part number? I've ordered one but I wasn't sure if it would be cool. I love Brodit mounts. They're the best in car mounts in my opinion. I ordered the tilt/swivel mount #875168. This fits 1G and 2G iPhone. Is the fit perfect and no fouling anywhere? I emailed Brodit but they said it'd be a few weeks till the official N1 version would be released.
BTW. What is the trailing wire? Is this a Golf fit? What is the mount you have - vehicle specific.

I have 2 mounts one in a Benz CLK (in the picture above) and the other in my truck, they are both for the 1st generation iPhone and with the swivel tilt function.
The wire is the charger; and I used a cigarette charger cable hardwired into the cars power so when the car is running it will charge the phone when it is plugged in

Just got my 875168 Brodit holder today. The N1 fits it perfectly. Very happy with it, quality just like all Brodit stuff - superb!

...but there is no chance to put the nexus in with a crystal plastic case, right?!
- Does anybody know a solution for this, without taking of the case??

Looks nice but I'd rather wait until the official car dock is out - espcially if it has an integrated charging option and some sort of bluethooth integration. I just hope they release it soon so I can make a decision...

this phone soooooooooo needs a car mount especially with google navigation. i cant tell which GPS is better, Garmin or my Nexus. They're both accurate to the point with making turns and my location. however, the information and layers are way up to date than my Garmin. I dont think i'll update my Garmin Map if a car dock comes out soon.

haha...but get this. I've been trying the "Navigate ....to whereever" on my Nexus over my Garmin. And it's damn great. I told it the other day "Navigate to ** train station" and it found it on first try. Then i told it "Navigate to Domino's" and brought up a list of the 12 closest Dominos. Which was so cool. I bet if i did that on my Garmin, it would be still searching.
